About the role
West Northamptonshire Council is the lead authority for a large shared service, delivering HR & Payroll, Finance and Business Systems to a number of public sector partners. The Business Systems team is a complex and multi-site customer support and development function, providing services across several applications including our ERP (integrated finance, procurement, HR and payroll) system.
We’re looking for two enthusiastic and motivated individuals to fill the role of ERP Functional Analyst. You will deal with complex incidents and system developments relating to our Unit4 Business World ERP and connected systems across finance, HR and payroll functions. One of the roles will be specifically focused on the General Ledger, Reporting, Planner and Fixed Assets modules. You’ll be joining an established functional development team in a demanding environment. The position is based in Northampton however we also offer remote flexible working.
About you
You must have strong technical background knowledge and understanding of ERP or financial systems, as well as be interested in how IT applications, particularly databases, work. Knowledge and experience of Unit4 Business World would be an advantage. For the dedicated finance role, you must have a strong finance background and have, or be working towards the final stages of, an accounting qualification.
We need someone who is able to work to deadlines as well as prioritise, organise and manage their workload. You’ll need great interpersonal skills and be able to represent our service in a positive and professional way, communicating effectively with a range of stakeholders.
