What You’ll Do
You will lead a subteam within BCG’s global mobility delivery organization, overseeing the execution of geographic transfers for consulting staff while ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery across cases. In addition to your leadership responsibilities, you will act as a player-coach, directly supporting more senior and high-touch transfers and contributing to delivery excellence.
You will manage a team of delivery professionals based in India, providing direction, coaching, and support, while also maintaining your own case portfolio. You will work closely with the Global Mobility Delivery Director to ensure alignment on priorities, performance, and continuous improvement, while taking ownership of people management and day-to-day team leadership.
- Lead and develop a team of mobility delivery professionals, including goal setting, performance management, and ongoing coaching
- Ensure consistent, high-quality execution of consulting team geographic transfers across the team, maintaining standards for accuracy, compliance with internal policies and external requirements, and stakeholder experience
- Support more senior and high-touch mobility cases, including MDP transfers, ensuring a high level of service and responsiveness while working closely with PSG and other stakeholders
- Manage a portfolio of transfers directly, acting as a primary point of contact for transferees and offices
- Ensure effective workload distribution and prioritization across the team, supporting scalability and sustainable team structure
- Drive adherence to established policies and processes, escalating complex or out-of-policy cases to Business Partnering as needed
- Collaborate with GM Operations & Digital Enablement to ensure effective use of tools and systems and provide feedback to improve delivery processes
- Coordinate with vendors during case execution to support effective and consistent service delivery
- Contribute to delivery-related projects and initiatives, acting as a resource to the Delivery Director to drive improvements
- Monitor team performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and consistency
What You’ll Bring
- You bring solid experience in global mobility, HR operations, or a related field, with strong exposure to transferee-facing delivery
- You have experience leading or mentoring others, with the ability to guide, develop, and support team members effectively
- You demonstrate strong ownership of delivery quality, ensuring consistent, high-standard execution across cases
- You are comfortable balancing hands-on execution with team leadership, operating effectively as a player-coach
- You bring a strong focus on customer experience, ensuring transferees and stakeholders receive high-quality, responsive support
- You have experience working in a global, cross-cultural, and highly virtual environment, engaging effectively across geographies
- You demonstrate sound judgement in applying policies and frameworks, and know when to escalate complex or out-of-policy situations
- You are organized and able to manage multiple priorities across both your own work and team responsibilities
- You use data and performance insights to monitor team outcomes and identify opportunities for improvement
- Experience working with mobility tools and systems, including Assignment Pro, is a plus
Who You’ll Work With
You’ll work closely with the Global Mobility Delivery Director and your team of delivery professionals based in India to ensure consistent, high-quality execution of mobility cases. You will act as a key link between the Director and the team, providing day-to-day leadership and ensuring alignment on priorities and ways of working.
You will collaborate with GM Business Partnering to align on policy and escalate complex cases, and with GM Operations & Digital Enablement to ensure effective use of tools, systems, and processes. You will also interact regularly with transferees, home and host offices, PSG, and vendors, ensuring a smooth and high-quality experience across the mobility lifecycle.
