Location: Hybrid / Flexible UK

The Opportunity

This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of marketing, communications and brand across one of the most diverse and innovative businesses in the dairy sector. Reporting to the Managing Director, you’ll lead a multi-disciplinary team and play a key role in driving business growth through customer insight, market intelligence and impactful marketing activity.

Working across a portfolio of established brands, you’ll develop and deliver a marketing strategy that strengthens market position, enhances customer engagement and supports commercial performance. You’ll bring together data, customer understanding and creative thinking to ensure Asterra continues to deliver meaningful value to customers while identifying opportunities for future growth.

What you’ll be doing

  • Lead the development and delivery of Asterra’s operational marketing, communications and brand strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and growth ambitions.
  • Analyse customer insight, market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth, innovation and market expansion.
  • Develop and execute integrated marketing plans that deliver measurable business outcomes, customer engagement and return on investment.
  • Strengthen and grow Asterra’s portfolio of brands through effective positioning, storytelling, stakeholder engagement and reputation management.
  • Champion the use of CRM, customer data and marketing analytics to improve customer experience, campaign effectiveness and commercial decision-making.
  • Lead, develop and inspire high-performing marketing, category and data teams, helping them deliver great work and achieve their potential.

What you’ll bring

  • Significant experience leading operational marketing, communications or brand functions within a commercial environment.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a proven ability to translate customer and market insight into business growth opportunities.
  • Demonstrated success developing and delivering marketing strategies across multiple products, brands or business areas.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using data and marketing insight to influence decision-making and business performance.
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing teams while building effective relationships with senior stakeholders.
