We’re looking for a proactive and detail focused Housing Operations Administrator to join our Customer Service team at PA Housing. This is a varied and rewarding role where you’ll provide essential administrative and operational support across lettings, voids, allocations, decants, and home moves.
You’ll play a key role in helping residents move into safe and sustainable homes quickly and efficiently, while supporting colleagues and contractors behind the scenes to keep services running smoothly. What you’ll be doing
- Act as a first point of contact for enquiries relating to lettings, allocations, voids, decants, and home moves
- Provide excellent customer service to residents, applicants, contractors, and local authority partners
- Support vulnerable customers by signposting services and ensuring fair access to support
- Coordinate administrative processes linked to end of tenancy, void turnaround, allocations, and home moves
- Manage appointments, contractor scheduling, inspections, and access arrangements
- Maintain accurate records and update housing management systems in line with GDPR requirements
- Prepare reports, performance data, and management information
- Support the marketing and promotion of harder to let properties
- Monitor progress against timescales, escalating delays or issues where needed
- Assist with complaints and customer feedback, ensuring issues are resolved professionally
- Work collaboratively with teams across Lettings, Repairs, Income, and Tenancy Management
- Contribute ideas and improvements to help services run more efficiently and effectively
What we’re looking for:

- Have experience working in an administrative, scheduling, housing, or customer facing role
- Are highly organised and able to manage competing priorities effectively
- Have excellent communication and customer service skills
- Are confident using IT systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Have strong attention to detail and take pride in accurate record keeping
- Can work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Are confident problem solving and escalating issues when needed
- Enjoy working collaboratively and building positive relationships with colleagues and customers
- Have an understanding of housing processes such as lettings, voids, or allocations (desirable)
- Bring a positive, proactive, and solutions focused approach to work
- Are passionate about delivering great customer experiences and continuous improvement
