Great opportunity to recruit an IT Project Manager & Coordinator – 12 month FTC/secondment
About the role:-
Working within the IT team, you will have a passion for delivering outstanding levels of customer service; able to manage delivery of multiple projects simultaneously to ensure benefits of the IT strategic portfolio can be realised.
Acting as the main point of contact for projects that are allocated to you, you will take complete ownership of each initiative. Liaising with internal departments and external partners alike, you will ensure solutions are aligned to business requirements and are delivered on time, to budget and within quality standards
Part of the role (~20%) will be coordination for the IT department, helping the function with administration tasks.
Project Management (~80%)
- Work closely with our business, IT stakeholders and delivery partners to understand business requirements and drive the development of high-quality technical solutions
- Managing multiple projects concurrently, on-time and within budget, both ad-hoc and as part of a programme of work
- Manage all projects resources including resourcing & budget management
- Delivery of projects that includes the use of multiple supplier
- Contribute to solution design, identifying innovative solutions to meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with specific teams and external parties to ensure solutions are fully aligned to business requirements.
- Customer focused, based on openness, trust, and delivering on promises
- Managing project through life cycle including in all program/project phases – plan, initiate, elaborate, design, build, test, implement and transition to BAU
- Use of industry-standard program/project methods, tools and techniques
- Excellent interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication skills,
- Ensures effective communication channels exist with all stakeholders – providing timely project and programme updates.
- Day-to-day management of projects to time, cost and quality
- Monitor the quality of project deliverables and ensure project objectives are met.
- Working both independently and in a multi-disciplinary-team collaborative environment.
- Well-developed influencing skills, strength of character, tenacity and cultural sensitivity to be persuasive and effective.
- Flexible; can accommodate additional working hours to meet deadlines when appropriate
Coordination (~20%)
- Supporting the IT department with:-
- PO generation
- Invoice receipting in Oracle
- Helping raising ATR and contracts paperwork for resources
