Lecturer in Bricklaying

Location: Hemel Campus HP1 1HD

Salary: From *GBP*37,870.56 (unqualified) – *GBP*44,362.66 (qualified Level 5 teaching and above). Depending on qualifications and expertise

Contractual Hours: 37.00

Are you a passionate Bricklayer with the skills to help shape our learners’ futures? The Construction team are looking for a Lecturer capable of supporting our students to excel in both the workshop and classroom environment. This is a rewarding role helping our students to work towards a career in the construction industry.

Based at our Hemel Hempstead Campus, we are looking for an enthusiastic teacher who can use their significant industry knowledge and experience in the construction trade who can teach on our Construction programs, including Level 1 Construction Skills and Level 1 and 2 Bricklaying.

You will be passionate about passing on your skills and knowledge to our students to prepare them for the world of work or to take further qualifications.

 We are looking for an individual who will be flexible in their approach and willing to maintain an up-to-date understanding of progressions within the construction industry.

To teach on this course you should hold a trade qualification or have gained relevant industry experience. Teaching experience and qualifications are desirable, but we would encourage applications from industry as well, with training and support put in place for the right candidate.
