Lecturer – Optometry Building, Cardiff
Cardiff University, School of Optometry and Vision Sciences is seeking a motivated and forward-thinking optometrist to provide high quality teaching in our undergraduate and postgraduate taught programmes.
We’d like to hear from you if you are an optometrist who is GOC registered with a a passion for education and an ability to develop and deliver across a range of undergraduate and postgraduate taught modules, including Primary Eye Care, Acute Eye Care and/or Medical Retina.

The post is offered at Grade 6 or Grade 7 on a part-time basis (40% time), up to 2 days per week. Opportunities may also be available to work in enhanced NHS clinical services within the School.
The post is fixed-term for 3 years and is offered on the Teaching and Scholarship pathway.

Salary:
£41,064 – £46,049 per annum, pro rata (Grade 6) or
£51,753 – £56,535 per annum, pro rata (Grade 7)
