Waldorf Astoria London – Admiralty Arch is seeking a Linen Porter to join the pre-opening team for this highly anticipated new luxury hotel opening later this year.
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced luxury hospitality leader to join the founding team and help shape the guest experience at this landmark hotel.
Located at the end of The Mall opposite Buckingham Palace, Waldorf Astoria London – Admiralty Arch will feature 100 elegant rooms and suites and 17,500 sqft of private residences. The hotel will open with two signature restaurants – Coreus by Clare Smyth and Café Boulud by Daniel Boulud – bringing together two of the world’s most celebrated Michelin-starred chefs. Guests will also enjoy a world-class spa, state-of-the-art fitness facilities, and a collection of grand event spaces, including a ballroom for up to 320 guests.

We are looking for hospitality professionals who are passionate about delivering an exceptional fives star guest experience, consistently upholding the worldclass service standards recognised by Forbes.
Here’s what you’ll do during a typical day:
As a Linen Porter, you will ensure the seamless availability, quality, and presentation of all hotel linen, supporting operations across departments to uphold the highest standards of guest comfort and service excellence. You will also maintain an immaculately organised linen room and oversee stock control with precision and care.
- Responsibilities, performed to the highest standards of ultra-luxury hospitality, include:
- Ensuring linen is readily available to all departments in accordance with operational requirements
- Enforcing rigorous quality-control standards across all linen processes, rejecting any items that do not meet specification
- Maintaining impeccable cleanliness, organisation, and safety standards within the Linen Room
- Conducting stock takes as required to support accurate inventory management
- Ensuring agreed par stock levels are consistently maintained
- Receiving linen deliveries and ensuring correct handling and secure storage
- Addressing service-related issues efficiently and professionally
- Managing the controlled issue of linen through established requisition systems
- Ensuring compliance with all Health and Safety regulations at all times
- Undertaking any other reasonable duties as assigned by hotel management

A Linen Porter serving Hilton’s luxury brands contributes behind the scenes to the guest experience while working collaboratively with hotel teams. To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate:

- A methodical approach with strong organisational skills
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
- Previous experience within a luxury hotel, laundry, or linen-handling environment is advantageous
