Midday Supervisory Assistant – Salisbury, Wiltshire, United Kingdom

Salary: £12.85-£13.05 per hour 

Hours of work: 3.5 hours per week

Contract: Permanent

A bit about us: 

We are looking for a Midday Supervisory Assistant to join us at Broad Chalke C of E Primary School. This can be part of a job share, please specify which day/s you would be able to work on your application form. 

All about the role: 

  • Safeguard children during the lunchtime period;
  • Setting up the school hall ready for lunchtime;
  • Clearing and tidying away after lunch;
  • Distributing/helping children with their lunches;
  • Encouraging positive play and interaction among the children;
  • Administer basic first aid when required.

You should:

  • Be able to build a strong and appropriate rapport with children;
  • Demonstrate the aptitude to work as part of a successful team;
  • Have effective communication skills;
  • Be able to support children in their play, while maintaining the children’s safety and following the school’s behaviour guidelines;
  • Be able to demonstrate good food hygiene practices and follow the school health and safety policies.

 

To work 12:15pm to 1:15pm Monday & Tuesday and 12:00pm to 1:30pm Friday (3.5 hour per week, term time only).   This can be part of a job share, please specify which day/s you would be able work on your application form.
