Role Overview

Reporting to the Sales Manager, the successful New Home Sales Consultant will be an expert at selling customers their dream home. At Dandara we know those first impressions last, so having a passion for customer service is crucial for this role. This will be based at our fabulous Hazelwood site in Aberdeen’s West End. 

Working Pattern

This role is a full time Maternity cover role and requires working 5 days in seven with a 2 day break on a rota, so you must be happy working weekends. 

What you will do: 

  • Meet prospective purchasers, demonstrate the features and benefits of properties for sale – assist with optional extras as and when required. 
  • Negotiate deals & Extras with the purchaser 
  • Accompany all potential purchasers to the show homes and onsite properties to demonstrate the home, the specification, brand and available extras.
  • Ensure the sales area and any show properties are clean, tidy and well presented at all times 
  • Process related paperwork on sales achieved including financial payments 
  • Liaise with purchasers, Sales Manager, and legals to process sales through ensuring you are providing them with a 5star customer journey.  Maintain contact and build lasting relationships with customers 
  • Ensure purchasers are kept up to date with progress on their plot and development 
  • Assist clients with optional extras and process their choices 
  • Deal with daily telephone/e-mail/web enquiries 
  • Proficient in using the CRM system to utilise effectively to drum up appointments, leads, reservations. Setting follow up tasks and detailed updates, including loading on reservations, plot progression and important notes.
  • Circulate details of properties for sale to prospective clients 
  • Detailed and regular plot progression by speaking with brokers and solicitors daily to gain updates. Help with & identify issues to move the plot forward to an exchange of contracts as soon as possible.
  • Carry out weekly build sales meetings with your site manager and customer care manager to ensure all plots are on schedule for delivery on the window you have quoted and discuss all purchasers already moved in that are in survey window to make sure they are happy, all issues dealt with and that they are being chased to return a ‘YES’ survey for us.
  • Be aware of market trends and remain updated on product knowledge & Competitors
  • Carry out weekly marketing audits to ensure your price list and website is correct and advertising the correct incentives and describing the correct features and benefits.
  • Carry out general administration tasks including keeping CRM system up to date and detailed updates, filing correctly all purchasers’ details, replying to all emails and ensuring a clear and detailed handover to anyone covering your holiday or days off.
  • Complete a home demonstration of the home along with your site manager, to show the customer how everything works and how to keep the property within warranty.
  • Prepare for legal completions with gift hampers and legal completion boxes. Ensure all keys are checked and present ready to hand over to customer alongside the site manager.

What you will have: 

  • Experience of new homes sales 
  • Excellent communication, organisational, self-motivational skills  
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills 
  • Proficient is CRM usage and previous experience is advised
  • Excellent rapport building and negotiating skills 
  • Flexibility to work the shifts mentioned to suit the needs of the business 
  • Full UK Driving License 
  • You must be able to work weekends.
