Do you often wonder what happens to patients in Diagnostic Imaging / Interventional Radiology and who looks after their care and welfare whilst in the department?
We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Band 3 Senior Nursing Assistant to join our highly skilled and motivated team in providing excellent care, whilst caring for patients undergoing interventional procedures and recovering within the department.
Some of the procedures we do are:
VASCULAR
- Pelvic Vein, Uterine Fibroid, Varicocoele, Prostate Artery Embolisations
- Peripheral Vascular Angiograms, Angioplasties and Vascular Stenting
NON-VASCULAR
- Percutaneous Biopsies and Drainages, etc.
- Nephrostomy Insertion/Removal and Ureteric Stenting
- Fluoroscopy -guided Gastrostomy Tube Insertions
- Thyroid Ablations
- Sialography
- IVC filter insertion and removal
The unique and varied nature of the speciality means there is always something new and interesting to learn as new procedures are developed and undertaken. We provide high quality patient focused care to outpatients and in-patients.
