Job Title: Product Coordinator – Performance Products

Location: Hybrid – UK

Contract: Full time, Permanent

Working Days & Hours: – Monday – Friday – 37.5 hours per week

Package includes -Salary from £24,500 including discretionary performance related bonus, plus pension contributions matched up to 10%, access to flexible benefits that support your development, wellbeing, and everyday life.

Occasional travel to our Sherburn in Elmet and/or Peterborough sites will be necessary.

About the role

As a Product Coordinator at AB Agri, you will be an essential part of our Performance Products team, focusing on managing the customer journey from order processing through to delivery.

This role centres on ensuring accurate and timely order management, liaising closely with sales representatives, customers, suppliers, and the wider product team.

You will be expected to build relationships with KW Sellers, Consultants, clients and suppliers; working efficiently and professionally to keep all parties informed throughout the process.

Working primarily in a hybrid setting with occasional visits to our Sherburn and Peterborough offices, you will receive support and training to help you develop and advance within the business.

This is a great role for someone who is methodical, personable, and motivated to take initiative whilst contributing to a collaborative team.

Some key responsibilities will include:

  • Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently
  • Coordinating with sales reps, suppliers, and the product team to confirm order details and resolve discrepancies
  • Maintaining clear communication with clients to keep them updated on order status and delivery issues
  • Building and developing relationships with suppliers addressing and solving problems
  • Demonstrating effective organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a busy commercial environment

 

What we’re looking for

  • Experience in customer service or order processing ideally with a background in Agricultural supply chain or logistics environment; however, this is not essential.
  • Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order management and customer communications, providing the highest level of customer service.
  • Proficient computer skills and confidence with standard office software.
  • Excellent communication skills, particularly comfortable with proactive phone contact to build relationships with customers, sales reps, and suppliers.
  • A personable, organised, and methodical approach, able to multitask provide clear, timely updates to clients and internal teams.
  • A motivated, team-oriented mindset with the ability to show initiative in resolving issues, while knowing when to seek guidance.
