As part of our ambitious growth strategy, we are excited to announce an opportunity for a Project Manager to join our Nottingham office. The successful candidate will support a strategic key account with the Ministry of Justice, delivering projects that develop and enhance the estate of prisons, courts, and probation services across Central England and Wales.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that projects are completed on time and to the highest quality standards. You will be expected to work diligently in alignment with contract deliverables, detailed specifications, and the specific requirements of our clients.
Your core responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the agreement of the client’s brief from inception, in conjunction with any other consultants appointed, and arranging for the appointment of other necessary consultants.
- Coordinating, managing, and communicating with the client, project stakeholders, and other appointed consultants to meet the project’s requirements.
- Preparing programs and undertaking program management.
- Managing change, coordinating the design process, and overseeing the control of the project both pre- and post-contract, including financial expenditure throughout all RIBA stages.
- Preparing and issuing reports, including but not limited to Project Execution Plans (PEP), Strategy Reports, Risk Registers, Progress Reports, etc.
Please note that you must be willing and able to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for this role, given the nature of the projects you will be working on.
About You
Our ideal Project Manager will have:
- Experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Comprehensive knowledge of building technology and construction principles.
- Excellent communication, client-facing, and presentation skills.
- Understanding of NEC project management principles, along with experience in managing design and construction contracts.
- Proven ability to manage projects from concept to implementation, effectively overseeing activities and ensuring that time, budget, and quality constraints are met.
- Eligibility to obtain BPSS-level Security Clearance, as this is required to fulfill the duties of this role.
