Public Health South Tees are developing an exciting new service for secondary school aged children and are looking for a skilled, enthusiastic project manager to lead the way on this. We want to appoint an energetic individual to lead and develop an exciting new service that will support young people in Middlesbrough around key adolescent health needs.

Our vision is ambitious and innovative, we want to develop a needs-led prevention offer, working with young people to design and develop the service. The applicant will have a passion for new ideas and support change in delivery around the way we deliver health prevention to adolescents. Therefore, a good knowledge of Public Health issues and impacts of poor health, poverty and inequalities on adolescents is essential. Strong skills to engage a wide range of stakeholders are needed and previous experience of working with schools would be beneficial.

We are looking for a solution-focused individual who can develop and drive innovative ways improve health and wellbeing. The work is time bound so strong project management skills is a must to ensure the project is organised and delivered on time.

The role is a new position that can be shaped by the successful candidate, and you will be supported by a range of professionals to do this who value collaboration, new ideas and improving the lives of children and young people. You will work in a broad, multi-skilled environment that supports you and offers high levels of job satisfaction.

Please note, this is a fixed term vacancy until 31st October 2027.

Salary: £48,226 – £50,269
