Job Description

Portico are on the lookout for a Reception Team Leader to join our team based with a consulting firm in Canary Wharf.

The role of the Reception Team Leader is to effectively oversee and provide direction to our excellent small team of receptionists, as they manage the visitor and staff arrival journey, meet & greet, meeting room management and set up, first line AV assistance, as well as pantry and hospitality services.

The role is hands on, with the Reception Team Leader being involved in all aspects of the reception operation. Therefore, it is essential to have an open minded, adaptable and flexible approach, in an ever changing and evolving business.

You will be the first point of contact for all team members. Not only will this require excellent coaching skills. You will also emanate Portico’s strong motivation to create and cultivate a culture of excellence, resulting in the delivery of world class customer service!

The Reception Team Leader will be highly visible, as they work closely with the firm’s staff and their clients, as well as other service partners in the business. This means that the successful candidate will be able to build relationships with people at all levels and represent the firm as a proud ambassador. 

Hours: 42.5 hours per week, with 2 alternate shifts from 7.30am-5.30pm or 8am-6pm, Mon-Fri.
Salary: £38,000 per annum.



Qualifications

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills via all mediums, great attention to detail, and will be organised with the ability to multitask.

Both supervisory and corporate reception experience is essential.

Knowledge of audio visual (AV) set ups is highly desirable.
