EMBRACE is a visionary, multicomponent international research programme, the first of its kind in the world, supported by Inkfish with £35M core funds over six years, starting in April 2025. About the role

The Research Fellow in Digital Health & Data Sciences is focused on the development and application of digital health tools, including health apps and wearables for health and LLMs. The post holder will be involved in innovative projects that integrate digital technology, data science, and AI to enhance evidence-based health outcomes.
 
The position is based within a dynamic team led by Professor Josip Car, Head of the School, Chair in Population and Digital Health Sciences and EMBRACE PI. Responsibilities include designing and conducting research studies that leverage digital health and data science for disease management and prevention.

This is a full time (35 hours per week), and you will be offered a three-year fixed-term contract.
 
Research staff at King’s are entitled to at least 10 days per year (pro-rata) for professional development. This entitlement, from the  Concordat to Support the Career Development of Researchers, applies to Postdocs, Research Assistants, Research and Teaching Technicians, Teaching Fellows and AEP equivalent up to and including grade 7.
