We have an exciting role on offer within our Children’s Services as a Residential Support Worker.
We’re looking for a Children’s Residential Support Worker to join our ever-growing team in a 4 bedroomed Children’s Home for children who have experienced trauma.
You’ll be a role model and mentor and play a key part in the support system for children who are unable to remain with families. You’ll play a vital role in supporting children and young people to achieve their full potential in all areas of their life, also for them to have aspiration for their own future, to enable them to engage positively in the community.
We’ll look to you to:
Advocate on behalf of children, also be positive role model.
Think creatively about – and contribute to – effective care planning.
Provide appropriate therapeutic relationships with the children.
Provide a safe, nurturing and homely environment, for children to feel safe and secured, to enable them to thrive.
Undertaken appropriate training and development to meet the needs of the children, also to be compliant with legalisations.

You’ll also need:
Staff will work towards or hold the recognised NVQ 4 or QCF diploma in working with children and young people in Residential care, or equivalent relevant Children’s Residential work.
Desire to undertake further education / training.
A valid and full UK driving licence.
The legal right to live and work in the UK.
