About us

The RMID Coordinator Lead is part of the RMID-Help which sits within the Operations & Strategic Planning Department of RMID. RMID is responsible for managing and accelerating research & innovation across King’s multidisciplinary research portfolio.
 
RMID-Help provides a centralised resource for the effective management of RMID and research systems related queries for researchers, research support staff and the wider community across the University.
 
The post-holder will also work closely with the Director of Service Improvement & Operations, the wider Operations & Strategic Planning department and the Executive Director, RMID, to support delivering strategic projects in RMID.

About the role

The RMID coordinator lead provides a key intersection between RMID services and faculty colleagues. This post acts as a conduit for queries across the directorate’s diverse portfolio of research support and actively leads on projects to introduce service improvements and drive excellence in Research Management & Innovation.
 
The post plays a crucial role in ensuring that RMID’s research support systems are accessible to the research community and has responsibility for answering and cascading incoming enquiries relating to Worktribe, Stratocore, LabArchives and Pure. Effective and timely management of these queries are crucial to the delivery of RMID-Help’s service.
 
Working within the RMID-Help team, the post holder will utilise service feedback and their perspective of RMID functions to inform strategic projects and opportunities for service efficiencies.
 
Sitting within the Operations & Strategic Planning department, the RMID Coordinator Lead also provides support to the RMID community by ensuring that key staff resources and information are maintained/kept up to date, and available both internally and externally.
 
This is a hybrid role, based in part from home with an expectation of regular in-office attendance when needed.
 
This is a full-time post (35 Hours per week), and you will be offered a fixed term contract for 12 months.
