Searcys are looking for a Runner/BOH support, to work in our prestigious venue 116 Pall Mall – Institute of Directors.

As a Runner/BOH support you will assist the Retail Manager and Retail Supervisor to deliver seamless service to all areas of the department, serving guests to the highest standard and according to Searcy’s procedures and policies.

116 Pall Mall is a stunning Georgian venue dating back to 1820 in the heart of London. Originally designed by John Nash, the architect behind Marble Arch and Brighton Pavilion. This venue is one of our flagship sites based on Pall Mall with a vast array of decadent event spaces.

Job Description

The Hospitality assistant  will be supporting and monitoring and serving all food and drinks to customers/clients/guest and clearing throughout the event.

Job Type: 0 hours contract  

Salary: £13.85 hourly  

Responsibilities:

  • To run food and drinks from kitchen or pantry to the guests in the Lounge or any area of the building specified by the manager
  • To clear tables and maintain cleanliness of all areas, front and back of house
  • To set up room and replenish stations according to department procedures and manager instructions
  • To support waiters on other reasonable tasks as deemed necessary
  • To welcome customers on arrival, greeting them on a friendly and hospitable manner
  • To deliver exceptional customer service to all clients, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Establish and maintain good relationship with all clients
  • Abide by company policies and departmental procedures/trainings
  • Takes customers’ orders for food and drink and prepare hot beverages (coffees/teas) and/or deliver them, whenever necessary and instructed by line manager
  • Be able to make constructive suggestions to client’s requests in order to improve service and daily sales – upsell
