About the Role

The SAP Tester will be responsible for creating, maintaining and executing automated tests across SAP processes. This role requires hands-on testing experience, confidence with automation tools, and the ability to work independently within agile delivery teams.

Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute automated regression test scripts for SAP processes using Tricentis Tosca under the guidance of senior engineers.
  • Assist in producing automated field‑masking tests using Playwright, following established patterns and standards.
  • Work closely with senior engineers and leads to help troubleshoot technical issues and resolve blockers.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of reusable automation test‑data patterns.
  • Log defects accurately in Jira and retest fixes once resolved.
  • Provide status updates during daily stand‑ups and sprint ceremonies.

Required Skills

  • Practical experience in Tricentis Tosca (AS1 and AS2 completed or working towards completion).
  • Basic understanding of SAP or other major ERP systems (e.g., Oracle).
  • Familiarity with Jira for defect logging and tracking.
  • Experience working in or exposure to agile, sprint‑based delivery teams.
  • Good communication skills and willingness to collaborate with senior team members.
  • Strong attention to detail with an analytical and logical approach to problem‑solving.
  • Confident, proactive, and able to manage assigned tasks independently with support when needed.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with Playwright + JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with VSCode.
  • Interest in expanding automation skills across frameworks and tools.

Security Check (SC) Clearance

To be successfully appointed to this role, it is a requirement to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance.
To obtain SC clearance, the successful applicant must have resided continuously within the United Kingdom for the last 5 years, along with other criteria and requirements.
