Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Events Manager to join the Events by Benugo Team.

Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus an annual bonus

Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Working pattern: 5 over 7 days, including unsociable hours due to late event finishes.

About the Senior Events Manager role:

  • To execute, manage and lead all events across Event By Benugo Sites with the assistance of the Events Manager(s)
  • To manage catering logistics, including event file handling, event briefing sheet and service plans
  • To manage orders of equipment, beverages and staffing
  • To ensure all areas are safe, clean, tidy and secure after an event
  • Building a strong relationship with other onsite events teams, working towards growing our share of events
  • To ensure all enquiries and client feedback are managed professionally and in a timely manner
  • To continuously work towards improving sales and service
  • To support office administrator in administration tasks such as payroll and closing the week procedures, and deputise in their absence
  • Provide appropriate guidance and support to all direct reports
  • Leading and motivating the team through ongoing evaluations, listening, training and mentoring
  • Financial and budget management including forecasting, cost control and forward planning

About the ideal candidate:

  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable
  • Enthusiastic about working in a dynamic and fast paced environment
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to motivate and inspire
  • Flexibility to work on events as and when required
  • Passion for food and wine is a plus!
