What the day will look like
In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting while collaborating with multiple collaborators across the business.
- Completing balance sheet reconciliations in Trintech, ensuring all supporting documentation is accurate and complete
- Performing consolidated balance sheet variance analysis and partnering with business teams to understand and explain movements
- Preparing monthly working capital forecasts for allocated accounts
- Managing end-to-end processes for provisions, ensuring accurate posting, reconciliation, and reporting
- Supporting pension accounting activities, including quarterly reporting and ad hoc requirements
- Supporting regulatory and risk reporting for internal and external stakeholders
- Managing insurance-related accounting processes, payments, and data reporting
- Ensuring compliance with SOX controls and collaborating with control teams to maintain effectiveness
- Supporting external audits and preparing documentation, responding to queries as needed
- Collaborating with UK Finance, EMEA Finance Centre, and other internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality financial outcomes

Skills and experience that will lead to success
- Qualified or working towards an internationally recognized Accountancy qualification such as ACCA, CIMA or ACA.
- Solid experience in accounting, ideally within a multinational or shared services environment
- Strong knowledge of balance sheet reconciliations, financial reporting, and US GAAP
- Experience working with auditors and supporting audit processes
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and explain variances
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams
