Calling high volume Sous Chefs! We’re recruiting for an exciting role based in central Brighton, just 10 minutes from the train station, paying £19.31 per hour!
This is a great opportunity for a experienced Senior Sous Chef to join a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen in central Brighton, delivering up to 500 covers per day. This is a full-time, permanent position offering an excellent work-life balance, with weekday shifts only, making it ideal for chefs experienced in business or corporate hospitality environments.
What you’ll be doing:
- Support the Head Chef in the smooth, efficient running of daily kitchen operations
- Lead, develop and motivate a kitchen team in a structured, high-volume service environment – up to 500 covers daily
- Deliver consistently high standards of food quality, presentation and service across large-scale operations
- Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene and company standards at all times
What you’ll bring:

Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Sous Chef, ideally within corporate, contract catering, business & industry or large-scale hospitality

Confident managing high-volume production, catering for up to 500 covers daily

Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills

A passion for fresh food, consistency and operational excellence
