Site Manager – £34,000 Per Annum

Play a pivotal role in leading a skilled Soft FM team at Newark General Hospital. Delivering high‑quality, responsive services that meet patient, client and business expectations while driving value, compliance and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the day‑to‑day delivery of all soft services, ensuring high standards and a great customer experience
  • Drive efficiency and continuous improvement to meet performance and budget targets
  • Inspire, manage and develop teams, overseeing rotas, absence, performance reviews and training
  • Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety and Food Safety legislation
  • Manage service quality, audits and KPIs, resolving issues and driving improvements
  • Identify and manage operational risks, supporting business continuity and emergency planning
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders to support service excellence
  • Produce clear, accurate reports and maintain compliance documentation using CAFM and MS Office

Essential Experience & Skills

  • Proven experience managing soft services within a facilities or hospitality environment
  • Strong leadership and people management capability
  • Excellent knowledge of Health & Safety and Food Safety regulations
  • Experience managing budgets and delivering operational efficiencies
  • Confident user of MS Office and CAFM systems
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Desirable

  • Experience managing senior third‑party relationships
  • Retail or facilities management background
  • IOSH (or equivalent) qualification
