Bedworth and North Warwickshire Children’s Safeguarding Team arelooking for enthusiastic and motivated Social Workers to join our team. We are a case management/long-term team where Social Workers have caseloads of Child In Need, Child Protection, Children in Care, care proceedings and adoption.
You will be joining a busy and fast paced team but one with a very supportive and cohesive team culture where the ethos is on child focused work aimed at improving outcomes and enhancing life experiences for children and young people. We adopt a positive, can do and problem-solving approach to our work based on the restorative practice model; we set ourselves high standards and are always keen to improve upon our best.

Key Requirements
Professional Social Work qualification (MA/BA/BSc in Social Work, Diploma in Social Work or Certificate of Qualification in Social Work (CQSW))
In depth experience in children’s social work and experience of complex cases
Have excellent analytical skills with ability to make well informed decisions
Have the ability to record and produce concise, effective and accuratereports
Have good communication skills with the ability to build relationships, engage with children and families
The Fluency Duty is outlined in the Code of Practice on the English language requirements for public sector workers. The Fluency Duty for this role is Required. You must be able to speak and provide advice in accurate spoken English to the public.
