Salary: £39,144 – £41,110 (Inclusive of 5% market supplement)

Hours per week: 37 hours

Children and Young Peoples Disabilities Team – Transforming Young Lives

Do you want to make a positive difference in young people’s lives? We are looking for a Level 2 Social Worker who understands the needs of children in care and can provide considerate, person-centred support. This vital support will assist them in meeting their desired outcomes, and to live as independently as possible, allowing them to fulfil their individual potential

The objective of the service is to provide high quality, coordinated child, young person and family-centred services which respond to needs and adopt a preventative and early help approach. Services are delivered in a way which listens to and responds to the voice of children, young people and their families.

The successful candidate will have the knowledge and ability to put into practice a range of theories, models and interventions and to assess impact for the service use, as well as strong, proven organisational skills that allow them to manage their own case load effectively.

This position comes with a 5% market supplement payment. All market supplement payments are subject to review on an annual basis.
