This is for a waking night position.

As a Support Worker, you will be at the forefront of providing high-quality, enabling care during night hours. Every shift brings new challenges and rewards, making this a truly fulfilling role. You’ll play a key part in helping us achieve our goal of being the best in the field.

Key Responsibilities

Overnight Support

  • Provide overnight care and support to individuals with varying needs.
  • Ensure safety and well-being throughout the night.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies and follow care plans.

Personal Care & Medication

  • Assist with personal care routines.
  • Administer or support self-administration of medication.

Individual Outcomes & Wellbeing

  • Implement person-centred support plans.
  • Promote independence and manage risks.
  • Encourage relationships and ensure compliance with legal and best practice standards.

Activity & Lifestyle

  • Support individuals in maintaining healthy lifestyles.
  • Develop flexible, engaging activity plans that promote autonomy and personal growth.

Communication & Records

  • Facilitate effective communication.
  • Maintain accurate, person-centred records.

Safety & Environment

  • Maintain a safe, clean living environment.
  • Adhere to health and safety protocols.

Essential Requirements

  • Previous experience in care or willingness to train.
  • Ability to work independently and remain alert throughout the night.
  • Good communication and record-keeping skills.
  • Compassionate and reliable.

Desirable

  • NVQ Level 2/3 in Health & Social Care.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and person-centred care.
