Job Title: Teacher – Electronics and Electrical Engineering
Salary: Commencing at £31,138 with progression to £35,036, plus a market supplement for the right candidate
About the Role
What You Will Do
- You will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching, learning and assessment, ensuring students are supported, challenged and inspired to achieve their full potential. This includes planning and delivering engaging lessons, developing innovative learning resources (including digital content), and designing effective assessment strategies that drive progress and attainment.
- You will monitor and track learner progress, providing timely, constructive feedback and setting ambitious SMART targets, while implementing targeted interventions to support student success.
- Through reflective practice and the application of evidence-based teaching methods, you will continuously enhance the learning experience to meet the diverse needs of learners.
- Working collaboratively, you will contribute to curriculum development, course review and quality assurance processes, including internal verification and moderation.
- You will support student recruitment, induction and progression, helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes high levels of retention, achievement and progression.
- You will maintain up-to-date subject knowledge and engage in ongoing professional development, while upholding the highest standards of teaching, safeguarding, and professional practice.
- You may also support examination processes, participate in college events, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation.

- With strong organisational skills, you are confident in planning and delivering creative, well-structured lessons, as well as developing high-quality learning resources, including digital content.
- You are skilled in assessing student work and providing clear, constructive feedback that supports progress, while effectively tracking performance and implementing targeted interventions when needed.
- Your reflective approach allows you to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learner needs and maximise outcomes.
- A collaborative team player, you contribute positively to quality assurance processes, curriculum development and continuous improvement initiatives.
- You demonstrate professionalism, integrity and a strong commitment to safeguarding, equality and high standards, while also supporting wider college activities, including recruitment events.
