Teaching Assistant – Chippenham
Job Description
Salary: Grade E SCP 6 to 8 £13.05 to £13.47 per hour
Hours of work: 8.30-12.00, 12.30-3.00 Monday to Friday (including 30 minutes of lunchtime support) . T erm time only, 28 ¾ hours per week
Contract type: Fixed Term for one year. This may lead to a longer term contract.

- Is passionate about working with children to support their development
- Is an excellent team worker
- Understands the importance of safeguarding as part of their role
- Has experience working with children
- Has good standards of maths and English
- Has an understanding of the systematic approach to the teaching of phonics
- Can build positive relationships and relate well to children and adults
- Can be adaptable to the needs of the children, and is confident to use their own initiative
- Will support and work closely with the class teacher and SENCo
