Job Description
Salary: Teaching Assistant (Grade D4- £13.05ph) and MDSA (Grade B2- £12.65ph)
Hours of work: 11.5 hours per week as a Teaching Assistant and 1 hour per week as a MDSA
Contract type: Fixed Term contract until 31 August 2026, Term time only.

All about the role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our friendly team. We are seeking an enthusiastic, creative and highly motivated part-time teaching assistant to join our wonderful school family at Westwood with Iford Primary School.
We are proud to be a diverse workforce where everyone plays a vital role. Working primarily under direction of the Class Teacher and the SENDCo you will support a student with planned learning activities and programmes on a 1:1 basis. The role will also involve supporting the midday supervisory team over the children’s lunch break.
This is a rewarding role where you will be supporting young people on their educational journey, inspiring them to break barriers and communicating with parents to establish positive home/school relationships.
