UK Royalty Assistant – London, N1C 4AG, United Kingdom
The Role:
UK Royalty Assistant at UMPG is a key part of the world-class Royalty team whose key goal is to ensure fast and accurate royalty accounting to songwriters. Reporting to the Senior Manager UK Royalty and Customer Service, the role is responsible for assisting with royalty processing, responding to royalty queries and providing support to the key royalty functions. The position is rich in opportunity for involvement with the company’s biggest signings and international projects.
Key Responsibilities:

Ensure accurate and timely royalty processing.

Provide best in class service to UMPG clients.

Liaise with internal stakeholders to investigate and resolve client royalty queries.

Support the Senior Royalty Administrator to perform key quarterly tasks.

Assist royalty department to complete end to end processes.

Undertake adjustment calculations and prepare approval packs.

Create and maintain Monday.com boards and SharePoint folders relevant to royalty department processes.

Recommend new tools and solutions.
Skills and Experience Required
Must have:
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.

Experience using Microsoft Excel (v-lookups and pivot tables)

Strong organization skills, analytical abilities, and attention to detail are required.

Ability to meet deadlines quickly and accurately while managing competing priorities is required.

Ability to think proactively to seek solutions.

Understanding of music publishing income streams including collective management organisations, Performing Rights Organisations and Digital Service Providers strongly preferred
