Join IKEA as a Accountant (Reporting)Your Role: Provide in-depth accounting (reporting) knowledge to ensure high-quality activities compliant with Ingka frameworks and local legislation. Be an engaged partner supporting stakeholders in reaching their goals.WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE:• Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.• Qualifications: Fully qualified or a passed finalist – ACA/ACCA or an equivalent certification with a solid understanding of GAAP and strong core accounting skills.• Experience: 3+ years in accounting / qualified accountant or finance, showcasing advanced skills. Project and fixed asset accounting on SAP is desirable• Leadership: Proven leadership skills, well-organized, able to deal with a variety of issues at the same time• Background: Experience in a large, international organization.• Skills: Proficient prioritization, clear direction, and efficient time management. Ability to work to tight deadlines in high pressure periods (month end/ year end ) with a positive attitude.• Communication: Clear English language communication skills.• Systems: Strong Excel skills and SAP experience is essential -WHAT YOU WILL DO DAY TO DAY:• Analysis and collaboration: Create insights into costs and performance. Analyze the cost lines in the P&L and conduct P&L reviews with the relevant stakeholders within finance and business steering.• Month end – P&L and Balance Sheet responsibility including analysis, journals and reconciliations.• Process Improvements: Identify process gaps, design efficient processes and engage the relevant stakeholders in doing so.• Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes. Ensure proper follow-up on costs and business cases.• Project Financials: Set up and maintain financial structures to track project costs and performance, aiding decision-making and business steering.• Reporting: Work with local and central Accounting & Reporting Operations to ensure accurate, timely management reporting, adhering to global frameworks and local requirements. Liaise with group ac-counting and reporting to ensure that our submissions are compliant.• Audit – Assisting with year-end audit deliverables and completing statutory accounting packs.
