We’re on the lookout for a passionate and proactive Water Safety Manager to join our team. This isn’t your typical job it’s your chance to make a real difference by ensuring every PA Housing property is fully compliant with our Legionella Policy. You’ll be at the forefront of keeping residents safe by leading water safety programmes, inspections, servicing, and remedial works across our London, South East, and Midlands properties.

What you’ll be doing

  • Taking the lead on all water safety across PA Housing properties in line with our Legionella Policy
  • Designing and implementing a robust water safety testing and maintenance programme for homes and blocks
  • Driving the performance of water safety services, ensuring compliance with KPIs, SLAs, and Health & Safety audits
  • Managing water servicing and maintenance contracts, delivering best outcomes for residents and the business
  • Providing expert advice and technical reports on water safety systems
  • Overseeing and managing subcontractors across a range of building services, including water, sewage pumps, and laundry equipment

We’d love to hear from you if you:

  • Have at least 3 years’ experience in water safety, including conducting risk assessments across a variety of properties
  • Are experienced in the treatment and testing of building water systems
  • Have a solid understanding of HSE ACoP L8 and wider Health & Safety regulations
  • Are confident using IT systems to support your work
  • Have a technical grasp of building maintenance and compliance

Disclosure and Barring Service:

This role requires of the successful candidate to complete a standard/enhanced DBS check. A standard/enhanced DBS check will show any spent and unspent convictions.

So why do we need to know this information? This role will be required to visit / support PA Housing residents in their own homes on a regular basis. Therefore we have a duty to our residents to ensure that we have taken precautions regarding who will be visiting them and representing PA Housing.

Having unspent convictions will not necessarily preclude you from being recruited into the role; if you are potentially the successful candidate, we will complete a risk assessment with you to understand the circumstances around your conviction, how relevant they are to the post you have applied for and what remedial action , if any, have you have taken since your conviction. Suitable references will also need to be obtained prior to commencement of employment.
