We have an exciting role on offer within our Resident and Business service as a Welfare Rights Officer.

An exciting opportunity has arisen within Resident and Business Support for someone to join our team as a Welfare Rights Officer.

The successful candidate will be part of a small team who will deliver independent and confidential specialist advice and information on welfare benefits to the residents of Middlesbrough, providing representation at Appeals Tribunals where required. An up to date knowledge of welfare benefits and tax credit law is essential.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Welfare Support Team Leader. You will need excellent communication skills as well as being able to demonstrate the ability to work within a fast paced environment and have experience of the full range of welfare benefits.

Salary: £33,699 – £35,412
