Job Title: Teacher – Design Realisation (Production Arts) (Part Time)
Salary: Commencing at £31,916 with progression to £35,912 per annum
About the Role
What You Will Do

Contribute to high standards of aspirational teaching, learning, and assessment.

Prepare for and deliver inspirational classes to student groups, with clear intentions and well-defined outcomes.

Enthuse, motivate, and mentor the young backstage workforce of the future, fostering a true passion for the live industry.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of learner progress, attendance, and achievements within the College.

Bring drive, determination, and a desire to make a genuine difference to young people’s lives through education.

Take part in activities relating to recruitment of students (open evenings, interviews etc).
-
Be an active member of staff teams, contributing to curriculum development, course reviews and School of Creative Arts activities.

Participate in personal development, working to develop your own professional knowledge and skill set.
About You
-
Graduate qualification in an appropriate subject area or significant industry experience
-
Industry experience of working in theatre.
-
A creative, enthusiastic, dynamic and forward thinking practitioner.
-
Work well as part of a team and be resilient, adaptable, and enthusiastic with experience of the backstage industries.
-
Student focussed, building a supportive and creative environment for students to develop their practical skills.
-
Excellent communication skills and would be happy working with people as well as being able to work independently when required.

Competent on EOS family consoles, Qlab and knowledgeable of safe working practices in the production arts industry.
