We are seeking a Platform and Infrastructure Specialist to join us on a 12month fixed term contract. This role will be a senior role driving forward our support offering around devices, ensuring an outstanding service to the organisation, focused upon resolving a range of technical incidents and requests in the device area, and continually driving improvement of this service to our internal customers.

Vacancy Introduction

  • This is a full-time based role on a 12 month fixed term contract, based at Greggs Innovate House, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE12 8EW
  • This is a full-time role, however flexibility in this will be considered

You will play a critical role in making a step change to the technical expertise we can leverage for our customers and to the internal teams when engaging with them around incidents and requests. 

 

About you

You will fit right into this role if you:

  • Have experience of managing and maintaining a wide range of devices across a large national footprint.
  • Can demonstrate extensive experience of device management and troubleshooting, and have very strong knowledge in device operating systems and management approaches, particularly Windows OS, Android devices and Intune/MEM management.
  • Have working knowledge in device associated group policies
  • Have working knowledge of associated technologies to device experience, such as identity platforms (AD/AAD/Entra), and connectivity technologies (wired and wireless).
  • Have a proactive can-do attitude with a clear bias towards ownership and results, and will enjoy contributing towards an adaptive, fun and creative environment 
  • Have experience of building trust and highly effective working relationships with a diverse range of technical and none technical stakeholders 
  • Have extensive customer facing experience in a support environment 
  • Are aware of key service management processes and metrics, and their purpose 

It would be advantageous if you had any of the following: 

  • Experience of working in a large retail environments
  • Experience of proactive problem management approaches, and associated data and documentation
