This is a unique opportunity to be part of the newly insourced Leisure team in Southwark. If you enjoy a challenge, can see the bigger picture and maintain an eye for detail, we would like to hear from you.

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Facilities Manager with experience of working in a leisure setting, who will directly manage Facility Management (FM) services, support contracts and building compliance, ensuring the development of robust relationships with building managers and end users.

The role is responsible for the delivery of FM services across our eight Leisure centres to support the provision of excellent leisure facilities that are fit for purpose and provide a safe, efficient and cost-effective environment for customers and staff in line with statutory and mandatory legislation.

The Leisure Division sits within the Department of Environments, Neighbourhoods and Growth, which is responsible for the day-to-day management of parks and open spaces, trees, sports and leisure, cemeteries, youth and play, highways, roads, parking, refuse collection, street cleansing, culture and libraries. It also looks after public health, trading standards and consumer safety.
