Overview

We are looking for a Site Operative to join the Frontier team, based at Sandy, on a permanent, full-time basis.

You will be carrying out day-to-day activities of the site; to assist in the delivery of high standards of safety, quality and operations whilst being a part of a team that operates with integrity and accountability while delivering a high standard of customer service.

About You

  • Good communicator with the ability to consult with all team members and site management team
  • Able to work under pressure and to deadlines whilst maintaining Frontier’s ICE values
  • Adapts quickly and successfully to accommodate changing business and customer needs, whilst providing a responsive customer focussed service
  • Works to accommodate the seasonal nature of Frontier’s business
  • Adopts a customer first mindset while ensuring that compliance and all internal procedures are always adhered to
  • The ability to work collaboratively with others and to work independently at times without supervision
  • Knowledge of COMAH is desirable but not essential
  • Counterbalance/reach FLT license is desirable but not essential
  • Training will be provided for the right candidate

Your Role

As a Site Operative your role will involve:

  • Assisting Site Management with all aspects of Operations
  • Assisting Site Management to comply with Health, Safety and Quality procedures including keeping records to ensure compliance
  • Working to customer service level agreements.
  • Ensuring general housekeeping and hygiene of the site is maintained
  • Ensuring the stores, plant and equipment are maintained to a high standard
  • Supporting the Crop Protection store during peak times
  • Providing driver cover for deliveries
