Overview

Reporting into our Training and Governance Manager, the Regional Director, The Training Assessor will join our specialist Make Ready business. Churchill’s Make Ready division provides specialist vehicle preparation and station cleaning services within the Ambulance service which includes infection prevention control, technology, auditing and training. The Training Assessor will oversee and present the current training programme for new recruits and carry out and manage all refresher training.

As Training Assessor you’ll be:

  • Carrying out Audits as specified by the Make Ready Quality Assurance Team.
  • Managing the training programme for junior and middle managers
  • Supporting the Training and Governance Manager in overseeing training governance arrangements
  • Working with managers to address learning issues and new educational needs
  • Specialise in the specific skills required for the role of ‘Make Ready’ and the activities and needs of the Commissioners changing requirements.
  • Keeping up to date on new educational, training techniques and methods.

As Training Assessor you’ll have:

  • Ideally experience of working within a Make Ready or healthcare contract
  • 2+ years’ experience in training
  • Experience in designing and implementing curricula preferred.
  • Strong team building and motivational skills, with the ability to forward plan, work under pressure and influence
  • Demonstrable record of delivery of educational, teaching and training programmes.
  • Specialist in accurate Record Keeping, Knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety Laws. Methodical, systematic and highly organised
  • Passionate, flexible, engaging, and innovative.
  • Hold a full driving license and be able to travel to sites.
