Wellbeing Worker (Care Experienced)

We are looking for a Wellbeing Worker who knows what it takes to support young people between the ages of 16-18. You will act as a key person providing targeted support for young people living in accommodation-based support services from various care backgrounds.

You will be creating, supporting and facilitating informal engagement events to build access to the service.

As a Wellbeing Worker you will work alongside these young people to improve their health and wellbeing. Improving the lives of young people who use our services, advising, supporting and motivating them to make positive changes.

You will be part of a friendly, supportive and enthusiastic team of wellbeing workers. The successful candidate will be provided with full training, but must be proactive, positive, approachable and non-judgemental with a good sense of humour and the ability to make safe and effective decisions under pressure.

You will be expected to monitor, record and report all communication with the people we work alongside, within the guidance of our policies, procedures and necessary Ofsted requirements.
